Gary founded Magma Cloud in 2015 after two decades of hands-on architecture, engineering and security leadership across local government, telecommunications, higher education and global services. Equally comfortable in the trenches of a complex Azure build and presenting business cases to executive boards, Gary brings a rare blend of technical depth, enterprise breadth, and commercial perspective.
He has personally architected multi-million-pound cloud, cyber and data transformation programmes; secured £5m+ investment business cases; established Cloud Centres of Excellence; and chaired enterprise Design Authorities. His specialisms span Microsoft Azure and M365, Microsoft Security (Defender, Sentinel), Zero Trust networking, enterprise data architecture, and the secure adoption of AI.
